REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS APPLICATION
Master (with Thesis)
1. Application form including the department applied (The candidates will fill in the application form on the webpage of the institute, take a print out and submit it together with all the other required documents to the institute)
2. Bachelor graduation certificate/ diploma and certificate of equivalence which will be received from Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK)
3. Bachelor Transcript of Records (minimum 60 out of 100 and 2.30 out of 4)
4. Foreign language certificate (it is compulsory to take a foreign language exam approved by Inter-university Committee such as TOEFL or YDS except their mother tongue)
5. 2 notarized copies of the Turkish translation of the passport for the foreign students
6. ALES is not compulsory
7. The applications can be made by post or in person. When applying by post, the original documents or the certified copies are supposed to reach Student Affairs Office of Admissions in Hitit University till 14 August 2015 at 05.00 pm. The institute will not be responsible in case of a delay in the post.
Doctorate
1. Application form including the department applied (The candidates will fill in the application form on the webpage of the institute, take a print out and submit it together with all the other required documents to the institute)
2. Master graduation certificate/ diploma and certificate of equivalence which will be received from Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK)
3. Master Transcript of Records (minimum 75 out of 100)
4. Foreign Language (It is compulsory to have minimum 55 in YDS or an equivalent grade in an exam approved by Inter-university Committee such as TOEFL in English, French or German except their mother tongue)
5. 2 notarized copies of the Turkish translation of the passport for the foreign students
6. ALES is not compulsory.
7. The applications can be made by post or in person. When applying by post, the original documents or the certified copies are supposed to reach Student Affairs Office of Admissions in Hitit University till 14 August 2015 at 05.00 pm. The institute will not be responsible in case of a delay in the post.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR LATERAL TRANSFER
The students who apply for lateral transfer are required to submit the following documents if they provide the conditions in item 9 of the related regulation.
1- The certified copies of Bachelor Diploma or graduation certificate for Master programs; Master Diploma or graduation certificate for Doctorate programs
2- The original or certified copy of the Transcript of Records (While transforming the transcript of records in 4 point grading system to 100 point grading system, the transformation table of the Higher Education Council is used.)
3- Exam result certificate of ALES.
4- Exam result certificate of YDS or an exam approved as equivalent by the Higher Education Council,
which they submitted to the institute in which they are studying during registration
Additionally;
1- Student Certificate taken from the institute in which they are studying,
2- Document showing that the student did not receive any disciplinary punishment,
3- Document including the content of the courses they took.
4- Transcript of Records including that the student is successful at all the courses s/he took and the student have minimum 75 or an equivalent grade out of 100 for master programs; 85 or an equivalent grade out of 100 for doctorate programs,
5- Application form including the department applied (The candidates will fill in the lateral transfer application form on the webpage of the institute, take a print out and submit it together with all the other required documents to the institute)
Lateral Transfer from Foreign Universities
The assessment of the lateral transfer from foreign universities is carried out in accordance with item 15 of Hitit University Education and Examination Regulation.
The applications can be made by post or in person. When applying by post, the original documents or the certified copies should be sent. Undue applications will not be assessed. When applying by post, the documents are supposed to reach Student Affairs Office of Admissions in Hitit University till 31 August 2015 at 05.00 pm. The institute will not be responsible in case of a delay in the post.
